cirkl (Liis Ring) is a relatively new Estonian artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Although many might have known her from bands like Talamak and Animal Drama, her solo work wasn't discovered until late 2013 when local indie and alternative music gurus from Eesti Pops and Kohviradio found some demos on SoundCloud and played them on their radio shows. It didn't even pass another year before the record label Õunaviks released cirkl's debut album, "Fables of a Faraway Land", a weird yet balanced mixture of RnB, indie pop and jazz with some hints of classical music.
